S-250 Switching Power Supply
The S-250 Series provides six single-output DC versions: 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 27V and 48V.
The S-250 is an enclosed AC/DC switching power supply designed for reliable DC power delivery in industrial control equipment, automation systems, electronic equipment and general electrical applications.
The series features switch-selectable AC input, built-in DC fan forced-air cooling, short-circuit, overload and over-voltage protection, 100% full-load burn-in testing and a fixed 60KHz switching frequency.
Selectable AC Input
90–132VAC or 176–264VAC switch-selectable input, with 248–370VDC support.
Six Output Versions
Available in 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 27V and 48V DC output models.
Forced-Air Cooling
Built-in DC fan provides forced-air cooling for reliable operation at higher power levels.
Protection Functions
Built-in short-circuit, overload and over-voltage protection with automatic recovery.

Built-in Protection Functions
Overload Protection
Overload protection operates at approximately 105%–135% of rated output power. Hiccup mode is used and normal operation automatically recovers after the fault condition is removed.
Overvoltage Protection
Overvoltage protection is provided for each S-250 output version. Protection operates in hiccup mode and automatically recovers after the abnormal condition is removed.
Short Circuit Protection
Built-in short-circuit protection helps protect the power supply during abnormal output conditions. Hiccup protection allows automatic recovery after the short-circuit condition is removed.
